Feasibility or proof of concept study

Most new development projects start with a feasibility study. This offers the customer several benefits:

  • Lower risks in the development phase
  • Less surprises during the project
  • Better end result
    = Lower total cost

There are many ways to perform a feasibility study, from deep theoretical research to straightforward testing with existing platforms. Typically, a feasibility study takes 2-3 months and contains the following:

  • Theoretical calculations of the sensor and measurement system
  • Electromagnetic 3D simulations of the sensor structures
  • Sometimes: measurements by using Senfit’s measurement instruments and bread board based on Senfit’s existing prototypes
  • Project plan for the development phase with time schedule, milestones and costs
